Crossroads Academy is a drug rehab/residential treatment center based in Ogden, Utah. We have 4 homes throughout ogden that house 10-15 males ages 14-18 years old. Our clients are with us for 9-12 months.
Direct care staff are expected to always know where the students are, and participating in various types of activities with the boys. We are an adventure based program, so we emphasize on extreme sports, such as skateboarding, snowboarding, mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, wakeboarding.
Direct care staff need to be able to hold our clients accountable to the program rules, and be able to process the ups and downs with them.
Additionally, direct care staff need to be able to be physically active. We do not need you to be an excellent skateboarder, or an amazing mountain biker- but you will be expected to join our boys, and participate in various activities with them.
We are social, supportive, rewarding and our goal is to foster an enviornment for our clients that will help them create healthier habits for themselves. We achieve this by utilizing the relationship model, connecting with our clients, and engaging in recreational therapy with them!.

We are looking for an energetic, compassionate individuals to join our company as a Direct Care Worker. The right candidate will have a background in recreation and will be responsible for assisting individuals in performing daily activities and ensuring their safety.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with students, and their therapist to help develop the patients' social, emotional, and physical well-being.
- Constant supervision of clients, ensuring safety at all times.
- Maintaining a safe and clean living space, through helping our boys with daily chores.
- Transporting our boys to and from recreation activities, in company vehicles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
