Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our team! Responsibilities
- Utilize diagnostic tools and electrical schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues with electronic and electrical systems efficiently.
- Perform electrical diagnostics on AC/DC electrical systems, identifying faults using multimeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment.
- Conduct field service visits to install, repair, or maintain electronic equipment at various customer sites.
- Use hand tools and soldering equipment to repair or replace components on circuit boards and wiring assemblies.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting documents to guide repairs and maintenance.
- Test electronic equipment for proper operation following repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, and diagnostic findings for quality assurance and future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electronics technician or service technician with a strong background in electrical troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with soldering, electrical soldering techniques, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and electronic equipment testing procedures.
- Ability to perform maintenance on computer hardware and networked electronic systems.
- Mechanical knowledge related to electronic device assembly or repair is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical clients.
- Familiarity with engineering troubleshooting methods and electronic system troubleshooting processes.
- Valid experience working with electrical blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and equipment repair in diverse environments.
