Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, tanker trucks.
- Fuel terminal experience desired but willinging to train
-Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated (e.g., tanker, refrigerated trailer).
- Proven experience as a truck driver or a similar role.
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to safely operate different types of trucks and navigate various road conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Physical stamina to load and unload cargo as required.
