Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to various locations. Duties
- Operate vehicles, including vans and trucks, for the purpose of delivering goods to customers.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Load and unload cargo, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of items as required.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including manual transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential.
