Clerical Assistant — Total Lab Solutions (Troy, MI)
Total Lab Solutions is a CLIA/CAP-accredited clinical laboratory in Troy, Michigan, and we're hiring a detail-oriented Clerical Assistant to support our daily lab operations.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in accuracy and keeps things running behind the scenes. You'll be the person who makes sure orders are clean, records are complete, and the lab has what it needs to deliver results our providers can count on.
What you'll do
- Scan, upload, and organize patient and operational documents
- Fill supply orders and maintain accurate inventory of lab supplies
- Perform quality control on patient orders and demographic data
- Research and obtain missing patient insurance information
- Handle outbound phone calls on behalf of the company
What we're looking for
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Comfort with computers, data entry, and phone communication
- Reliable, organized, and able to juggle multiple tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Healthcare or laboratory experience is a plus, but not required — we'll train the right person
