Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair trucks, commercial vehicles, and heavy equipment.
- Troubleshoot diesel/gas engines, electrical, hydraulic, brake, steering, suspension, drivetrain, transmission, HVAC, and computer-controlled systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance, safety inspections, tire service, and red-tag unsafe equipment.
- Coordinate repairs with the shop foreman and communicate with operators to identify service needs.
- Complete shop and field repairs, including unexpected breakdowns and adverse conditions.
- Perform welding, fabrication, minor body work, and painting as needed.
- Operate hoists, cranes, and shop tools safely while keeping the shop clean and organized.
- Maintain accurate work records and follow safety, quality, and company standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience repairing diesel trucks, heavy equipment, or road construction equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and computer-controlled systems.
- Ability to read repair manuals, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Welding and fabrication ability.
- Ability to safely use tools and equipment, maintain records, and communicate effectively.
- Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one before hire.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, carry, and perform hands-on repair work safely.
- Pre-employment references required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with both shop and field service repairs.

Compensation:
- Up to $32.00/hour to start, negotiable based on experience, certifications, and training

Shifts:
- Day shift, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
