This person participates in the production and packing of ceramic crucibles. This position reports to the Ceramics Packing Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Follows procedures to maintain compliance with ISO standards.
- Inspects and packages ceramics per procedure.
- Operates hydraulic presses to produce ceramic products.
- Inspects greenware for visual defects and uses appropriate calibrated equipment to verify critical dimensions.
- Packs ceramics into saggers for firing
- Record and maintain paperwork needed for tracking ceramics.
- Performs additional duties as requested by Ceramics Production Manager
Requirements
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Lifting up to 55 lbs.
- The ability to stand, sit, and move around are essential qualities.
