Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Design, implement, and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor client progress and make informed adjustments to treatment plans.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions for children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support consistent implementation of interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and HIPAA-compliant patient files in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Train and supervise behavior technicians or paraprofessionals to ensure quality service delivery and fidelity to treatment protocols.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting to track client progress effectively.
