Join our pediatric healthcare team as a Pediatric Transportation & Inventory. In this important role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of pediatric residents to and from medical appointments, hospitals, schools, and community outings, while also assisting with inventory management, supply organization, and equipment tracking throughout the facility.
You will be taking medically fragile children to doctors appointment and staying with them.
This position requires reliability, excellent time management, physical stamina, strong organizational skills, and a compassionate approach when working with medically fragile children.

Applicants must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport pediatric residents to and from medical appointments, hospitals, schools, therapies, and approved community outings.
- Ensure residents are transported with all necessary medical equipment, supplies, and documentation.
- Maintain communication with nursing staff regarding resident needs before, during, and after transportation.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and distributing medical supplies throughout the facility.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify the appropriate department of low stock, backorders, damaged items, or supply shortages.
- Organize storage rooms, supply closets, and equipment areas to maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency..
- Perform regular lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving of medical equipment, oxygen tanks, wheelchairs, feeding pumps, and supply deliveries.
- Maintain transportation vehicles by ensuring they are clean, fueled, stocked, and ready for resident use.
- Follow all facility policies regarding safety, infection control, resident rights, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Represent the facility professionally when interacting with families, hospitals, physician offices, vendors, schools, and community partners.
- Assist other departments with special projects and operational needs as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience working with children, healthcare transportation, inventory management, or medical supplies preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable working around medically fragile children and medical equipment.
- CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
