Montana Sulphur & Chemical Company, located in Billings Montana, is seeking to fill a position of Sacker/Laborer/Operator Apprentice.
Montana Sulphur is a privately held sulfur manufacturing and refinery services business, established 1955. Principal products are targeted at fertilizer and manufacturing users.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 75 # or more.
- Must have a strong work ethic and the ability to focus on quality, listen well, and follow instructions.
- Must have computer knowledge and have good interpersonal skills.
- The position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to climb ladders and work outdoors in all seasons.
- Must be willing to work some holidays.
- High school diploma, GPA > 3.0
- Sacker/Laborer position has opportunity for advancement into more technical position with higher pay
Duties:
- This position is predominantly manual labor and involves heavy and repetitive lifting.
- Filling and stacking bags of fertilizer/sulfur, loading/unloading trucks, operating forklift and similar equipment, industrial housekeeping, maintenance, ingredients transfer, quality control and other related duties.
- Will include working alone and unsupervised for extended periods.
Hours: Various shifts, Overtime
