Neapoli Italian Kitchen in the heart of Red Bank is looking for vivacious, bright, energetic Servers to join our team.
We’re not looking for someone who simply takes orders and drops off plates. We want outgoing hospitality professionals who genuinely enjoy people, know how to read a table, can confidently recommend food and drinks, and help turn dinner into an experience our guests want to come back for.
If you have a great personality, a strong work ethic, and know how to hustle when the restaurant is packed, we want to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests with genuine warmth, energy, and personality.
- Provide attentive, knowledgeable service from the moment guests sit down until they leave.
- Learn our Italian-inspired menu and confidently describe dishes, ingredients, specials, wines, cocktails, and other beverages.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them efficiently into our POS system.
- Make thoughtful recommendations and naturally upsell appetizers, cocktails, wine, entrées, desserts, and other menu items.
- Anticipate guest needs instead of waiting to be asked.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently while keeping service friendly and personal.
- Work closely with bartenders, bussers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to keep service running smoothly.
- Handle cash and credit-card transactions accurately.
- Maintain clean, organized service areas and follow all food-safety and sanitation standards.
- Bring positive energy to every shift — especially when we’re busy.
Who We’re Looking For
Our ideal Server is:
- Outgoing, vivacious, and personable
- Bright, energetic, and confident
- Comfortable talking with all types of guests
- Experienced in restaurant or hospitality service
- Able to thrive in a busy, fast-paced dining room
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and able to manage several tables at once
- Comfortable with suggestive selling and upselling
- Interested in Italian food, wine, cocktails, and hospitality
- Able to stay composed and professional during high-volume service
Previous serving experience is strongly preferred. Wine, spirits, cocktail, POS, and reservation-system experience is a plus.
