Job Overview
Join EHG Wealth Management as an Investment Adviser Representative / Financial Advisor and build a book of business inside a true multi-family office — where your compensation grows every time a client’s needs expand beyond investment management. Unlike traditional advisory roles that cap you on a single product line, this role gives you direct, credited economic participation across our four integrated divisions — Investment Advisory (RIA), Tax Optimization, Estate & Trust Development, and Private Risk/Insurance — so the same UHNW relationship you build can pay you multiple times over.
Why This Role Pays More
- Industry-leading payout grid — our compensation structure is designed to pay advisors a materially higher percentage of revenue generated than what you’ll find at wirehouses, regional broker-dealers, or standalone RIAs.
- Cross-divisional revenue sharing — when your client engages EHG’s Tax Optimization, Estate & Trust, or Private Risk/Insurance teams, you are compensated on that revenue too. You are the quarterback of the relationship, not a single-service rep, and your payout reflects that.
- Higher client wallet share, higher advisor earnings — HNW and UHNW families consolidate more assets and services when one trusted advisor can coordinate tax strategy, estate planning, insurance, and investment management under one roof. That consolidation directly increases your production and your payout.
- No ceiling on referral income — every warm introduction you make internally (and every referral other divisions send you) is tracked and compensated, creating multiple, compounding income streams from a single client relationship.
- Equity and growth incentives — as EHG scales through RIA and IAR acquisitions, top producers have a path to firm equity, leadership roles, and long-term wealth creation beyond annual production.
- Strategic Partner Development and lead generation support – once production reaches $250,000 in revenue EHG focuses concentrated efforts on driving in high quality leads.
Duties
- Develop and implement customized investment plans aligned with clients’ financial objectives, risk tolerance, and market conditions.
- Identify opportunities to bring in EHG’s Tax Optimization, Estate & Trust Development, and Private Risk/Insurance teams to deliver comprehensive, multi-disciplinary solutions to HNW and UHNW clients — and earn cross-divisional credit for doing so.
- Provide expert guidance on estate planning, wills, trusts, and estate law to help clients preserve and transfer wealth efficiently, in partnership with EHG’s Estate & Trust specialists.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis using advanced software tools to evaluate investment opportunities and portfolio performance.
- Stay current on securities law, financial regulations, and industry best practices to ensure all advice complies with FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) standards.
- Manage client relationships proactively through regular communication, portfolio reviews, and updates on market trends — while surfacing additional planning needs the broader EHG platform can solve.
- Educate clients on the full breadth of EHG’s offerings, including securities, banking services, cash management, asset management, tax-efficient structures, and private insurance solutions.
- Assist clients with tax-efficient strategies by integrating tax expertise into comprehensive financial planning, working alongside EHG’s in-house tax specialists.
Qualifications
- Proven experience practicing in the securities industry with a strong understanding of financial markets and investment management advisory services.
- At least 2+ years of active licensed investment advisory experience with preferably $30M in portable assets under management.
- In-depth knowledge of financial concepts such as estate planning, securities law, tax strategies, and wealth management principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, portfolio management, and client relationship management.
- Relevant licenses such as Series 66/65 (or equivalent), along with FINRA registration compliance.
- Strong skills in financial software applications, research tools, and technical accounting practices.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain complex financial concepts to clients of diverse backgrounds.
- A consultative mindset — comfortable identifying opportunities to bring in specialists from other divisions and viewing every client relationship as a platform for comprehensive wealth solutions, not a single transaction.
