Due to growth, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our team. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patients are moving forward with care and getting healthy. This is not a front desk administrative position. Direct experience in gaining dental case acceptance through patient education and overcoming objections is required.
What you’ll do as a Treatment Coordinator:
- Schedule patients effectively and be responsible for maintaining a full, productive schedule that
maximizes patient care. Scheduling optimization will be for active as well as inactive patients
- Verify insurance benefits and provide clear explanations of coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and
payment options
- Present treatment plans to patients to help them understand the importance of their oral health
- Ensure treatment plans are accurate in the system
- Manage a productive schedule and schedule future appointments
- Coordinate with labs to ensure case completion prior to patient appointments
- Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for every patient by being friendly helpful at all times
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the office runs smoothly and every patient receives outstanding care
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum of 2 years experience presenting treatment plans to patients along with knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency with dental practice management software
- Ability to present treatment plans with empathy, confidence and professionalism
- Excellent and positive communication skills with both the team and patients
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter that takes initiative when something needs to be completed
- Stable work history demonstrated on your resume
