The Medical Coder / Billing & Coding Specialist will work in-office to review and code clinical notes completed by nurse practitioners and providers for Primary Care, Cardiology, and Wound Care services. This position requires strong knowledge of medical coding, E/M coding, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, documentation requirements, and payer guidelines.
The ideal candidate is accurate, organized, compliance-minded, and able to work closely with providers, billing staff, and administrative leadership to ensure documentation supports the services billed.
Pay: $20.68 - $21.69 per hour
Experience:
- CPT coding: 1 year (Required)
- Practice Fusion: 1 year (Preferred)
