Job Title: Residential Electrician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment. As an Electrician, you will work on various projects in residential and commercial markets. For this opening, we are specifically looking for someone with significant residential experience in remodels, service work, and new construction. The ideal candidate will be confident working and troubleshooting electrical systems in older homes. We are a small, faith based, family-owned company.
Must have registered electrician status, with a minimum of 3 years experience in residential electrical wiring both in new installs, and remodel work. Journeyman's license is a plus.
We are looking for someone detail oriented with an ability to adapt to different jobsites regularly.
Our sites consist of residential and commercial sites, we are service work and remodel heavy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist electricians in installing electrical systems and components.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems.
- Help troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical wiring.
- Handle power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Assist in testing electrical systems using voltmeters and ohmmeters.
Skills:
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading for electrical installations.
- Experience with low voltage systems is a plus.

Requirements:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
