Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities. Every other weekend required.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors and surfaces.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities to ensure guest comfort at all times.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and operate janitorial equipment responsibly.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing daily tasks to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods.
- Experience with janitorial equipment and supplies management.
- Background in hospitality or related service industries is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
