The teacher will collaborate closely with staff to create a respectful, safe, and encouraging atmosphere that emphasizes academic excellence, character building, and faith-based principles. Reporting directly to the principal, the teacher will ensure effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success and uphold the school's mission.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive instruction in history and mathematics aligned with state standards and school values.
- Create innovative lesson plans that are inclusive, engaging, and tailored to meet individual student needs.
- Regularly communicate with students, parents, and administration regarding academic progress, behavior, and expectations.
- Establish clear classroom rules and routines that foster respect, discipline, and a positive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support students with diverse learning challenges ensuring equitable access to education.
- Grade assignments promptly and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
- Monitor student performance, social development, behavior, and health as related to classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress in compliance with legal requirements and school policies.
- Plan activities that stimulate observation skills, inquiry-based learning, and active participation.
- Prepare classroom materials efficiently for effective lesson delivery.
- Enforce school policies consistently while exemplifying Christian principles in all interactions.
- Promote fairness by providing equal opportunities for all students to succeed academically.
- Collaborate with administration on classroom management strategies or structural changes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in education or relevant field.
- Proven experience teaching history or mathematics effectively at middle or high school levels.
