We are seeking a passionate and inspiring History and Math Teacher to motivate middle and high school students to excel academically while fostering their personal growth. The teacher will collaborate closely with staff to create a respectful, safe, and encouraging atmosphere that emphasizes academic excellence, character building, and faith-based principles. Reporting directly to the principal, the teacher will ensure effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success and uphold the school's mission.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive instruction in history and mathematics aligned with state standards and school values.
- Create innovative lesson plans that are inclusive, engaging, and tailored to meet individual student needs.
- Regularly communicate with students, parents, and administration regarding academic progress, behavior, and expectations.
- Establish clear classroom rules and routines that foster respect, discipline, and a positive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support students with diverse learning challenges ensuring equitable access to education.
- Grade assignments promptly and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
- Monitor student performance, social development, behavior, and health as related to classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress in compliance with legal requirements and school policies.
- Plan activities that stimulate observation skills, inquiry-based learning, and active participation.
- Prepare classroom materials efficiently for effective lesson delivery.
- Enforce school policies consistently while exemplifying Christian principles in all interactions.
- Promote fairness by providing equal opportunities for all students to succeed academically.
- Collaborate with administration on classroom management strategies or structural changes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in education or relevant field.
- Proven experience teaching history or mathematics effectively at middle or high school levels.
