Customer Service & Front-of-House
- Guest Experience: Manage admissions, ticketing, and guest orientation, keeping lines moving efficiently during high-volume tourist days.
- Conflict Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for guest complaints, rapid problem-solving, and de-escalating difficult customer situations during peak seasons.
Day-to-Day Operations
- Financial Oversight: Execute precise daily and weekly financial reporting, including cash drops and register reconciliations.
- Daily Maintenance: Maintain the presentation of museum ensuring it is always polished and ready for guests.
- Logistics: Oversee online sales, receive and process inventory, and keep the stockroom organized and efficient.
Training & Staff Leadership
- Team Mentorship: Supervise, mentor, and train our part-time team, fostering an accountable, positive, and organized work environment.
- Floor Coaching: Lead by example during chaotic peak hours, guiding staff on how to manage high-volume crowds with composure and grace.
Gift Shop Presentation
- Merchandising & Sales: Oversee daily gift shop presentation, visual merchandising, and restocking to maximize revenue and assist guests.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels on the floor and maintain an organized inventory display.

Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in retail management, hospitality, tourism, or museum services preferred.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in basic math, POS systems, and general computer competency (Microsoft Excel experience is highly preferred).
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently manage both guest expectations and staff accountability.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 40 lbs. during inventory shipments. Ability to tolerate seasonal temperature fluctuations.
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
