TIME COMMITMENT

Although this internship does not guarantee full-time employment nor include employee benefits, students and recent graduates are offered an excellent opportunity to gain extensive experience in managing public relations, marketing, and social media campaigns within a large public agency.
BASIC FUNCTION:
Support staff in the development of communication materials and multimedia products. Assist in the timely and accurate dissemination of information to District stakeholders and the community.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:-
Applicants must currently be enrolled in an accredited college/university majoring in Public Relations, Political Science, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related fields.

Recent graduates who have completed their degree in one of the above fields are also eligible to apply.

DMV – Valid CA Class C Driver’s License

Official/unofficial transcripts denoting completed coursework from a recognized college or university in Public Relations, Political Science, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field OR a degree from an accredited college/university majoring in Public Relations, Political Science, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
