Event Setup Crew Member (Per Event Basis)
Velazco Event & Party Rentals is looking for dependable and hardworking crew members to assist with event deliveries, setups, and breakdowns throughout Connecticut.
This is an event-based position, perfect for someone looking for flexible weekend work and extra income. Most events take place on weekends and involve setting up tables, chairs, tents, lawn games, and other event rental equipment.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload rental equipment
- Assist with deliveries and event setups
- Set up tables, chairs, tents, games, and event equipment
- Assist with event breakdown and equipment pickup
- Handle equipment carefully and professionally
- Follow directions from the crew lead
- Represent the company professionally at customer locations
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Weekend availability preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following is a plus, but not required:
- Event setup
- Moving companies
- Construction
- Landscaping
- Warehouse work
- Delivery services
We are willing to train the right candidate.
Pay & Schedule
- Starting at $20/hour
- 4-hour minimum paid shift
- Per-event basis
- Most events occur on weekends
- Additional opportunities available during busy seasons
About Velazco Rentals
We are a growing Connecticut event rental company providing tents, tables, chairs, lawn games, and event equipment for parties, corporate events, community events, and special occasions.
We’re looking for reliable team members who show up on time, work hard, and take pride in helping create successful events for our customers.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
