Dietary Aide
Job Summary:
Cortland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team! As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents by assisting with food service operations, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and promoting overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Portion and serve food items
Deliver trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms
Work on tray line, dish room, and pot sink
Sweep, mop, and dispose of trash and recyclables
Perform other job-related duties as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks
Ability to interact positively with residents, families, clients, center staff, and the public
Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time
