A mission-driven nonprofit serving the Central Ohio community is looking for an Administrative Support team member to join their team. Employment Solutions is helping them find someone organized, dependable, and genuinely motivated by work that makes a difference. This is a hands-on role at the heart of the organization, where you'll help make sure the people they serve are supported from their very first point of contact.
This is not a front desk role. You'll process and verify intake documentation, help clients connect to the right programs, and keep information moving accurately across the organization. If you're someone who takes initiative, juggles many tasks well, and cares about doing things right, you'll fit in well here.
Responsibilities:
- Process and verify client intake forms and supporting documentation
- Verify program eligibility, including Medicaid and Social Security records
- Coordinate with multiple departments to keep client information accurate and up to date
- Maintain organized, confidential records with a high degree of accuracy
- Support community events, outreach, and volunteer opportunities
- Handle a variety of day-to-day administrative tasks that keep the office running smoothly
- Manage your own priorities and deadlines while collaborating across the team
Qualifications:
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with sharp attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently in a small to mid-size office
- Experience in intake, eligibility, case management support, or social services is a plus
- Familiarity with Medicaid and Social Security processes is a plus
- Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Professional, compassionate communicator with a strong commitment to confidentiality
- Able to support occasional community events, including some Saturdays
Schedule and details:
- Full time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with some flexibility
- Hybrid schedule: a mix of in-office and remote days each week
- Occasional Saturday hours for community events
- Temp to hire
