Position Title: Inventory Control Associate

Reports To: Inventory Manager
Position Summary
The Inventory Control Associate at Worldwide Plumbing Supply supports efficient warehouse operations through accurate product identification, inventory counting, organization, receiving and stocking materials, quality control, order picking, and loading. This role plays a key role in maintaining efficient operations, ensuring the accurate distribution of plumbing supplies to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Identification and Inventory Control
Accurately identify plumbing products by item number, description, size, and manufacturer.
- Perform inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damages.
- Update inventory records and locations using the company ERP system.
- Create and update inventory locations in our warehouse and our ERP system.
- Assist in general warehouse tasks as needed.
2. Safety and Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks safely.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Immediately report safety hazards or incidents to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse or inventory experience.
- Ability to lift up to and at times exceeding 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with inventory systems or handheld scanners preferred.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Work Environment
- Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Adherence to strict safety protocols and procedures is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
