Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee the company’s daily financial operations, manage accounting staff, and ensure accurate financial reporting to support internal goals and business growth. Your strong analytical skills, organizational prowess, and proactive approach will drive fiscal precision and compliance. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate, timely financial reports and statements.
- Coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Establish, enforce, and maintain proper accounting methods, policies, and internal control principles.
- Utilize advanced computer skills, including extensive use of QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), and Google Workspace for financial tracking.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, internal teams, and auditors to resolve financial discrepancies and support smooth operations.
- Assist executive leadership with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Experience & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or management capacity preferred.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in QuickBooks and the Microsoft Office Suite (especially advanced Excel) is required.
- Core Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent mathematical accuracy and data entry precision.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and phone etiquette; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in manufacturing, inventory accounting, or distribution is highly advantageous.
