An established multi-unit hospitality group has opened an exciting new upscale tavern in the Greater Boston area, and we're looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the launch.

What You'll Do
As General Manager, you'll have full responsibility for leading all aspects of the restaurant's operations while partnering closely with ownership and the operations team to establish a premier dining destination.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building, mentoring, and inspiring both front- and back-of-house teams through strong, hands-on leadership.
- Creating a culture of accountability, hospitality, teamwork, and continuous development.
- Delivering exceptional food, beverage, and service standards that exceed guest expectations.
- Managing daily operations, including scheduling, labor management, inventory, and operational execution.
- Recruiting, training, coaching, and developing management and hourly team members.
- Driving financial performance through effective budgeting, cost controls, and revenue optimization.
- Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
- Partnering with the Operations team to execute marketing initiatives and grow sales.
- Ensuring every guest leaves with an experience that earns repeat visits and lasting loyalty.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is a confident, hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality and a proven record of building successful restaurant teams.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum 5 years of successful experience as a Restaurant General Manager.
- Experience leading high-volume or upscale casual restaurants preferred.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labor, food cost, and profitability.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with restaurant POS systems and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality and operational excellence.
- Current Manager ServSafe Certification required.
- Allergen Awareness, Crowd Manager, and ChokeSaver certifications required (or ability to obtain as required).
