Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and cookware are sanitized and ready for use. Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans efficiently
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas as needed
- Support food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or ingredient setup under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including floors, counters, and equipment
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
- Support catering events or banquet setups by providing timely dishwashing services
- Ensure all items are stored correctly after cleaning to prevent cross-contamination
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy hours
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; banquet or hotel experience is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic understanding of food handling safety protocols
