Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
- Pharmacy Technician experience
- Ability to work regular and predictable schedules with consistent attendance
- Ability to work mandatory overtime or an extended work week when needed
- Ability to remain on feet for sustained periods
- Ability to move throughout the work area to accomplish assigned tasks
- Ability to utilize equipment that elevates over 15 feet
- Ability to occasionally lift, reach, twist, turn, bend, stoop, and walk while moving objects weighing up to 55 lbs
- Ability to perform tasks requiring close visual acuity, including viewing computer screens, reading, and visual inspection of small parts
- Ability to concentrate on tasks for extended periods
- Ability to perform tasks involving picking, pinching, typing, and primarily using fingers
- Ability to extend hands and arms in any direction
- Ability to bend the body downward and forward at the waist
- Ability to stoop and use the lower extremities and back muscles
- Ability to communicate detailed or important instructions accurately through spoken communication

Registered Pharmacy Technician – Home Infusion Overview:
- The Pharmacy Technician will support home infusion services by assisting with the preparation and fulfillment of specialized and complex therapies administered to patients in their homes
- Key responsibilities include preparing and compounding sterile products while maintaining the pharmacy clean room suite in accordance with applicable requirements
- The Pharmacy Technician will document IV admixture activities and clean room suite sterility testing, complete order entry and refill activities under pharmacist supervision, and support inventory management and medication storage
- The role also requires maintaining appropriate documentation, including labels, log sheets, and reports
- The Pharmacy Technician will participate in an on-call rotation as determined by staffing and business needs
- This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow established procedures, consistent attendance, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a healthcare environment
Job Duties:
- Prepare and compound sterile products
- Maintain the pharmacy clean room suite according to applicable requirements
- Document IV admixture activities
- Document clean room suite sterility testing
- Complete order entry and refill activities under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory and medication storage
- Complete appropriate documentation, including labels, log sheets, and reports
