Junior Buyer / Supply Chain Coordinator to support purchasing, inventory management, vendor communications, and supply chain operations for a growing manufacturing company. This role works closely with production, vendors, warehouse personnel, and internal departments to ensure materials are available when needed and orders move efficiently through the supply chain.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in logistics, inventory control, purchasing support, customer service, warehouse operations, or supply chain coordination who are looking to build a long-term career in procurement and supply chain management.
Job Requirements-
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field preferred

Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing, inventory control, logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, production planning, customer service, or a related field

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications

Experience using ERP, MRP, or inventory management software preferred

Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Manufacturing experience preferred

Purchasing or procurement experience preferred

Inventory management experience preferred

APICS certification, supply chain coursework, or related training is a plus

Pass drug screen and background check
Responsibilities-
Assist with purchasing raw materials, components, and production supplies
-
Create, maintain, and track purchase orders
-
Monitor open orders and communicate delivery updates to internal teams
-
Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and shipment status
-
Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment planning
-
Support production scheduling by ensuring material availability
-
Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records within ERP systems
-
Research alternative suppliers, products, and sourcing opportunities
-
Assist in resolving receiving discrepancies, shortages, and vendor-related issues
-
Analyze purchasing and inventory data to identify cost savings and process improvements

Collaborate with production, warehouse, quality, and accounting teams to support operational goals

Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure timely follow-up on commitments
