Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of construction projects by performing physical labor, operating tools and equipment, and following safety procedures. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the construction, repair, and maintenance of residential houses/buildings.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction machinery safely and efficiently.
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and setting up materials.
- Follow blueprints, instructions, and supervisor directions.
- Measure, cut, and assemble building materials as needed.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, or other materials.
- Install or assist with framing, drywall, roofing, flooring, and other construction tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction experience is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
