As a Server at Mustard Seed, you will play an essential role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Located in Cerritos , California, this position is vital to our mission of delivering outstanding customer service while showcasing the rich flavors of New Orleans.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders while providing menu recommendations.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in the restaurant industry is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with vegan food is a plus but not required
- Good communication skills for effective guest interactions.
