The rapidly expanding Beverly Hills branch of our national law firm is seeking an experienced full-time Civil Litigation Paralegal to assist in all aspects of plaintiffs' side civil litigation. Our California office primarily represents survivors of childhood sexual abuse seeking justice against the organizations who failed to protect them. In addition, nationally, we handle mass torts, employment, and personal injury matters.
Experience in personal injury litigation, mass torts, or medical malpractice is highly preferred and salary offers are commensurate with applicable civil litigation experience. The ideal candidate must possess the following qualities:
- Knowledge of the local court rules of counties throughout California
- Knowledge of California pleading and response deadlines
- Knowledge of discovery protocols and deadlines
- Ability to calendar deadlines and hearing dates for attorneys
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Calendaring dates according to California Code
- Filing Pleadings
- Assisting with Discovery
- Drafting pleadings
Qualifications:
- Paralegal Certificate (or comparable degree)
- At least one year of applicable civil litigation experience
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
