Job Summary
The Balloon Specialist is responsible for creating and preparing balloon arrangements for in-store sales, special orders, and events. This role combines creativity, attention to detail, and customer service to ensure every balloon arrangement enhances celebrations and meets customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and assemble balloon arrangements
- Inflate balloons using air and helium, ensuring proper sizing, balance, and safety
- Consult with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate balloon designs
- Prepare balloon orders accurately and on time for pickup or delivery
- Maintain balloon inventory, tools, and work area in a clean and organized manner
- Follow safety procedures for handling helium tanks and balloon equipment
- Assist with general store duties such as stocking, merchandising, and cashiering when needed
- Stay up to date on balloon trends, techniques, and seasonal offerings
Qualifications
- Previous experience with balloon décor or party planning preferred (training will be provided)
- Creative eye for color, design, and detail
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work independently and perform duties without direct supervision when required

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

- Must be able to handle latex balloons and balloon equipment
- Must be able to see colors
