Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, energetic support team member to join our front-of-house team. This position combines the responsibilities of a Food Runner and Busser and plays an essential role in keeping service smooth, organized, and attentive.
Support Workers work closely with servers, hosts, bartenders, and the kitchen to ensure food reaches guests quickly and accurately, tables remain clean and properly maintained, and the dining room is prepared for incoming guests.
This is an excellent position for someone looking to enter the restaurant industry, develop strong hospitality skills, and potentially advance into a serving or bartending role.
Responsibilities
- Run food from the kitchen to tables promptly and accurately.
- Verify table and seat numbers before leaving the kitchen.
- Deliver food by seat number rather than auctioning dishes at the table.
- Assist with communicating guest needs or missing items to servers and the kitchen.
- Clear finished plates, glassware, silverware, and other items throughout the meal.
- Reset and prepare tables according to restaurant standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked service stations.
- Refill water and assist servers with routine guest needs when appropriate.
- Assist with polishing and stocking silverware and glassware.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, booths, floors, and surrounding dining areas.
- Assist servers with pre-bussing and maintaining clean, uncluttered tables.
- Help turn tables efficiently without making guests feel rushed.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure accurate food delivery.
- Complete opening, running, and closing side work.
- Assist other front-of-house team members as needed during busy periods.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, uniform, and workplace policies.

Physical Requirements
This is an active position that requires standing and walking for extended periods. Team members must be comfortable carrying trays, plates, bus tubs, and other restaurant supplies and regularly lifting approximately 25–40 pounds.
