About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. This role is centered on supporting a provider during patient rounds, ensuring smooth clinical workflow and quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Podiatrist during patient rounds at SNFs
- Support patient intake, charting, documentation, and follow-up care
- Prepare medical equipment and supplies as needed
- Assist with patient communication and coordination
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
- Collaborate with the provider and clinical team to ensure efficient care delivery
- Take detailed notes and support the provider throughout rounds
What We’re Looking For:
- Certified/Licensed Medical Assistant (MA) – Required
- CNA background may also be considered
- Open to fresh graduates who are eager to learn!
- Previous podiatry or wound care experience is a plus, but not required
- Fast learner with a positive attitude
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and team-oriented
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a clinical environment and adapting to workflow needs
- Familiarity with wound care is a plus!
Position details, compensation rate, and benefits
- Part-time position
- Must be available to assist the Podiatrist at different facilities at least 2-3 days per week (weekdays only)
- Morning shift schedule
- Typical hours are approximately 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM, depending on patient volume
- One SNF facility per day
- Competitive pay: starting at $20/hour and up, depending on experience
- Mileage reimbursement provided
- EMR/EHR training included
- Start date: ASAP
