What You’ll Do
As an Auto Physical Damage & Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster, you’ll manage claims from investigation through resolution while delivering professional, timely, and fair claim outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving first- and third-party auto claims
- Handling bodily injury, liability, and physical damage claims
- Managing claims files from start to finish with accuracy and attention to detail
- Reviewing coverage, assessing exposure, and making sound claim decisions
- Communicating with insureds, claimants, attorneys, medical providers, agents, and vendors
- Documenting claim activity thoroughly and clearly
- Negotiating settlements within authority guidelines
- Collaborating with management on complex or litigated claims
- Maintaining timely follow-up and organization across an active caseload
What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of auto insurance claims adjusting experience
- Experience handling bodily injury claims
- Knowledge of first- and third-party claims handling
- Strong negotiation and investigative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with general liability and/or trucking claims
- Active adjuster license
- Bachelor’s degree
