Job Overview:
The Southeast Region includes: AL, AR, FL, GA, KS, LA, MS, MO, NC, OK, SC, TN, and TX. Candidates must live within region.
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will be responsible for cultivating relationships with current and future thought leaders in academic and clinical medicine as assigned. The position carries out planned field activities associated with advancing the knowledge of current available data as well as generating new data with our products. The MSL provides research results and new concepts in medical treatment to physicians and medical personnel affiliated with key institutions. Goals will be accomplished by the development and execution of a regional MSL business plan in concert with the Company’s overall strategy in dermatology.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key thought leaders in academic and community centers within assigned territory utilizing scientific evidence-based materials.

Develop and execute territory plans in alignment with regional and national (U.S.) Medical Affairs strategies.

Collaborate effectively and proactively establish working relationships with cross-functional teams

Deliver scientifically accurate, fair-balanced, and compliant presentations

Support product launches through healthcare provider (HCP) education for safe use of our medicines, serving as a scientific resource to medical and commercial partners as appropriate, to support pre-, peri-, and post-launch activities

Gain insights from physicians that may impact product strategies

Act as the primary point of contact and facilitator for investigator-initiated studies (IISs), from submission, review and approval, through study activation/completion

Support the execution, organization, and planning of advisory boards

Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies
Qualifications - Skills & Requirements:

Experience in the field of dermatology is preferred with prior MSL experience required.

Excellent planning, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Ability to provide medical and scientific education, interpreting and communicating complex data, related to disease state and Acrotech products (as appropriate) to HCPs.

Ability to build strong relationships with peers and cross functional teams. Knowledge of drug development and regulations.

Ability to establish deep knowledge of assigned therapeutic area and scientific expertise with ability to interact with relevant experts.

Ability to manage operational workload and effectively multi-task
Education & Experience:
- MD, PhD, or PharmD degree required, candidates with a clinical background (e.g. NP, PA, etc.) and extensive MSL experience will be considered. A minimum of 2 years MSL experience in dermatology is preferred.
