Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, passionate and reliable Pet Groomer to join our team. Must have 5+ years of hair cutting experience and strong scissor work with a warm and compassionate personality. Must learn to self-regulate under stress and maintain a cool/ calm attitude and keep professional at all times.
Bad attitudes and unreliability will not be tolerated.
Our focus is in providing a welcoming environment where the pet and their owner will feel at ease with entrusting us with their pet, while providing a thorough and beautifully executed groom. We frown upon shouting, or negative speech towards pets, regardless of their behavior.
Responsibilities
- Provide grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, anal gland expression and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs.
- Trim, Scissor and style the dogs hair according to breed standard or fusion cuts.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions through proper and safe animal restraint techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to hygiene standards and salon cleaning and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any observations related to their health or behavior.
- Handle animals with care and compassion, ensuring a stress-free experience for both the pet and owner.
- Must be able to do 5-8 dogs minimum per 8 hour shift.
- We provide a bather when doing more than 7 dogs per shift.
Experience
- Previous experience in pet grooming
- Skills in animal handling, care, and restraint are essential for ensuring the safety of both pets and groomers.
- Loving energy and caring personality
- Strong customer service skills are necessary to build rapport with pet owners and provide an exceptional experience.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed when handling larger breeds or equipment.

Our groomers average $24-$36 per hour with CC tips, not including cash tips. It varies by productivity.

- Maintain clear boundaries between personal and professional life: When you step into the salon your focus is on the work and the animals.
We don’t want to waste your time or ours, please note that you will not have access to client information. You will not have the opportunity to have private time with your guest to exchange contact information. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule that can work Friday - Monday 9-5pm
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
