Job Title: Engagement Specialist
Hours: Variable- 24 hours/week
Salary: Competitive pay based on qualifications, experience, and credentials (starting at $15.21/hour)
Position Overview:
- Serves as a role model, mentor, advocate and motivator to recovering individuals in order to promote long-term recovery
- Work with individuals on how to verbalize triggers and warning signs and be willing to openly review these in acceptable settings.
- Assist with development of safety plan and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) and tool box
- Provide support during crisis event by working with crisis intervention specialist to verbally coach individuals on management of stress and current problem
- Provide follow up care to individuals previously experiencing crisis event to ensure linkage to appropriate services and to review crisis safety plan
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Personal experience related to Behavioral Health
- CRSS certification and WRAP certification in 2 years from hire.
