Founded in 1969, Western Michigan Adult & Teen Challenge is a faith-based nonprofit providing long-term residential discipleship and recovery programming for adults in the Muskegon, Michigan area. Our mission is developing a life in Christ with the hope and freedom found in Him.
The Program Support Staff provides oversight, accountability, and Christlike leadership to students in our residential recovery program. This role is structured and relational; you will follow consistent daily routines while building genuine connections with the people you serve.

Assist with student intake, check-in, and related procedures

Monitor student phone calls and maintain appropriate communication boundaries

Facilitate or support small group sessions

Oversee students during chapel, prayer, study halls, and meals

Supervise on-site student visits

Transport students to approved appointments and activities

Document policy violations and report to the Program Supervisor

Oversee assigned work duties

Participate in staff discipleship, chapel, prayer, and ministry events

Dependable and consistent with strong attention to routine and procedure

Clear communicator with a teachable spirit

Ability to serve with humility, grace, and compassion

Active Christian faith and commitment to WMATC's Statement of Faith

Heart for people in recovery and passion for discipleship

Valid driver's license required

Must pass a background check
