We are seeking a highly qualified client-facing professional to lead our business development and manage relationships with a broad cross-section of institutional investors and financial intermediaries around the globe. The successful candidate must be highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial and passionate about growing the business and providing exceptional client service. You will work in close collaboration with research, portfolio management, and operations team to ensure a high level of service to existing clients and growth of the firm. - Develop a comprehensive knowledge of our quantitative approach and investment culture
- Grow the business through active networking with consultants and institutional investors
- Develop, maintain, and enhance client relationships
- Interact with the investment team to stay up to date on the firm’s latest research
- Assist in the development and publication of white papers
- Prepare all client reporting and organize meetings
- Communicate research ideas, portfolio updates, and other relevant information to clients
- Provide legal reviews of contractual matters
- Demonstrate leadership and influence through active participation. Develop a strategic distribution direction
- Assist CEO in planning, hiring, strategy execution, and developing a high performing culture
The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with a minimum of five to ten years in a similar role and involvement with a traditional asset manager or a hedge fund, with responsibility for representing the firm’s investments.
- Excellent academic credentials. CFA and/or MBA is strongly preferred
- Intellectually sharp, curious with innovative ideas
- Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and driven
- A great listener with the capacity to understand and empathize with the audience
- Presents and communicates with credibility and clarity. Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with a range of investment approaches, ideally including systematic approaches
- Detailed understanding of the competitive landscape
- Tech savvy; ability to get up to speed quickly on new technologies and software
- Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual with analytical skills, and attention to detail who will thrive in a fast-paced environment
