Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children. This role is essential in fostering the development of young learners, particularly in preschool settings, and involves assisting with lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management.
Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans that promote literacy education and overall child of all ages from 8 weeks to 12 years old development.
- Help manage classroom dynamics to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Engage with children to encourage participation and facilitate their learning experiences.
- Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance as needed to promote positive interactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
Skills
- Experience working with children in educational settings such as schools, daycare centers, or preschools is preferred.
- Strong skills with patients that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental stages.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficient in classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly environment conducive to learning.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies to address various student needs effectively.
