Location: Brooklyn, NY
Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour
Position Type: Long-Term Temporary
Pay is based on education level:
- $18.00 – High School Diploma/GED
- $19.00 – Associate's Degree
- $20.00 – Bachelor's Degree
- $21.00 – Master's Degree
Are you passionate about helping others achieve independence and success in the workplace? We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and dependable Job Coaches to support individuals with disabilities as they build meaningful careers and thrive in their communities.
Available Openings:
- 1 Position: Monday–Friday | 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- 2 Positions: Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (occasional weekends required)
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 10–15 clients.
- Spend most of your time in the field at client job sites.
- Teach, coach, and support individuals with workplace tasks through demonstration, modeling, observation, counseling, and discussion.
- Assist with transportation and travel training to and from work sites when needed.
- Build positive relationships with clients, employers, and community partners.
- Complete detailed service notes and case documentation.
- Monitor client progress and provide ongoing support to promote long-term job success.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and travel throughout the community.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
- Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience is a plus.
- Understanding of Person-Centered Planning preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends based on client needs.
