We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic, and fun teachers to teach play-based Spanish in SW Portland! The most important quality is that our teachers LOVE working with children. We give our absolute best to our teachers and are looking for instructors who will do the same in return! We are a tight-knit team working with great schools and families.

Job Outline
We're currently on the lookout for passionate individuals to join our teaching team for the 2024-2025 school year. Once selected, you'll start your training journey right away during the Spring term. This includes observing seasoned teachers in action, engaging in both online and face-to-face training sessions with our skilled trainers, and getting practical teaching experience at our summer camps. You will begin teaching only your own in September 2024.
Our training program is carefully designed to fully prepare you for success in our program, blending practical experience with expert guidance every step of the way.

Pay
Training pay: $15.45/hr
Teaching pay: $26.00/hr
Bonus pay: If performance is excellent at the end of each trimester, you will receive a bonus as if you were getting paid $30.00 for every class taught.
Our ideal teacher would be:
- Committed until June 2025
- Reliable, trustworthy, organized, and extremely prompt.
- Fluent or at least nearly fluent in both Spanish and English.
- Able to work independently with groups of young children.
- A team player.
- Able to travel from one school to another.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must respond to texts and emails in a timely manner.
