Looking for an Equipment/Maintenance Technician to work in a Warehouse/Distribution location in Sarasota. Temp to Hire position, M-F, 7am-3:30pm. $17-19
This position is responsible for assembling, rebuilding, refurbishing, and testing commercial equipment in our warehouse. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, rebuild, and refurbish commercial equipment and machines
- Work on commercial dishwashers, ice machines, water softeners, and OPL laundry equipment
- Install and connect plumbing, pumps, hoses, valves, motors, switches, and other components
- Perform basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and make necessary repairs
- Disassemble used equipment, clean components, and replace worn or damaged parts
- Test completed machines to ensure proper operation before they leave the warehouse
- Read and follow equipment diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specifications
