Director of Life Enrichment

We are seeking an energetic, compassionate Director of Life Enrichment to create engaging programs that enhance the physical, social, cognitive, and spiritual well-being of our assisted living and memory care residents.

What You'll Do
- Plan and lead engaging activities, events, and outings for assisted living and memory care residents
- Develop and maintain monthly activity calendars that promote resident engagement and wellness
- Create opportunities for lifelong learning, social connection, fitness, entertainment, and spiritual enrichment
- Encourage resident participation and gather feedback to continually improve programming
- Collaborate with nursing and care staff to support each resident's individual interests and abilities
- Supervise and support activity assistants
- Welcome new residents and help introduce them to community life and activities
- Safely transport residents for outings and appointments using the community vehicle
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and community partners
- Attend required training and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in activities, recreation, life enrichment, or senior living preferred
- Experience working in a memory care setting and with residents living with dementia strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Creative, enthusiastic, and compassionate with a resident-centered approach
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
