Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service during retail sales transactions
- Process cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Support store operations by performing basic math calculations for transactions and ensuring accurate cash register balancing at shift end.
- Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries, providing clear information and directing calls as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the store remains clean, organized, and welcoming for all shoppers.
Experience
- Previous cashier experience is preferred
- Supervising experience is a plus, including overseeing cashier shifts or training new team members.
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts such as making change accurately and balancing registers is essential.
