Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but open to strong CFY candidates
- Previous experience working in a school setting highly valued
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Familiarity with diverse student populations, including those with mild to moderate disabilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students as needed
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy sessions for students with a range of communication disorders
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and parents to set goals and track student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide consultation and support to teachers to integrate communication strategies in the classroom
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and team meetings, fostering a supportive learning environment
