Position: Licensed/Associate Mental Health Clinician
Job Status: Temporary FT (37.5 hours)
Employment Dates: July 2026 to September 2026
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9-5pm, hybrid
Pay Details: This is a grant funded position that ends September 30, 2026. The pay scale is $45 (Associate), $48 (Licensed) depending on experience.

Contra Costa and Solano County Family Justice Centers provide services and information under one roof for survivors and families affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, and human trafficking. Our mental health department provides 1:1 therapy, clinical case management and mental health groups intended to support healing and recovery for communities impacted by violence.

Responsibilities:
- Carry a caseload of 20-25 clients
- Perform mental health screeners, assessments and evaluations to formulate diagnostic impressions and treatment plans
- Attend supervision, treatment team and agency meetings
- Submit clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Conduct mental health trainings for clinicians and agency
- Organize and facilitate mental health groups and activities for students and families for FJC Back to School events
- Attend and lead mental health groups and activities for youth at Camp Family Justice (September 25-26, 2026)
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Counseling/Clinical Psychology/Social Work or related field
- BBS Registration as an AMFT/APCC/ASW or LMFT/LPCC/ASW, PsyD or Phd required
- Experience formulating and knowledge of mental health diagnoses
- At least 1 year experience working with youth and adults
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to navigate Google Workspace, electronic health records and online telehealth platforms
- Strong interest in developing clinical skills for trauma recovery
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual Tagalog/Spanish
- Live in or are familiar with the communities that the FJC Centers serve
