Qualifications
- Property & Casualty Insurance license or willingness to obtain within two months of employment; licensing costs covered by the company.
- Strong communication skills across multiple channels including phone, email, text, and face-to-face interactions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while staying organized and focused.
- Reliable, honest, and trustworthy with a professional attitude.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Process all client account updates for home, auto, and business insurance policies accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organized files and ensure all documentation is current and correct.
- Follow up promptly with clients and prospects to address their needs.
- Schedule appointments for clients and prospective clients.
- Respond to phone calls, texts, and emails in a professional manner.
- Track and deliver timely communications to clients.
- Collect referrals, testimonials, and references from satisfied clients.
- Attend relevant training sessions and team meetings.
- Prepare for and participate actively in employee development discussions.
- Continuously update knowledge of company products and services.
- Contribute ideas to improve systems, processes, and client experience with managerial approval.
- Prioritize the client's best interests in all interactions.
- Conduct in-person meetings with clients to review insurance policies once trained.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $18–$22/hour, depending on experience.
- Once licensed, you'll receive a $1/hour raise.
- Opportunities to earn quarterly bonuses through cross-selling, plus annual bonus opportunities.
- Paid time off: 5 days after your first 6 months, increasing each work anniversary.
- A $300/month stipend to be used for your own health insurance.
Licensing
- Property & Casualty Insurance license — you'll obtain this within 2 months of your start date if you're not already licensed.
- Get licensed before or within 30 days of your start date and earn a $500 bonus!
- We cover the cost of your study materials and licensing exam.
Location & Schedule
- Based out of our Nampa, ID office — you'll have your own dedicated workspace.
- Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with a 1-hour lunch.
