Outside Sales Representative (Decking & Siding) — Hutcherson Construction
Hutcherson Construction is growing, and we’re looking for a high‑energy Outside Sales Representative who knows how to build relationships, solve problems, and close business. What You’ll Do
- Manage client relationships — Grow existing accounts and nurture organic leads from our Business Development team.
- Generate new business — Network, attend events, and build referral pipelines.
- Sell decking & siding solutions using Hutcherson’s proven sales process.
- Conduct site visits to understand client needs and provide accurate recommendations.
- Demonstrate product expertise and offer technical guidance.
- Prepare quotes & negotiate contracts with accuracy and professionalism.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, production, and internal teams.
- Maintain CRM accuracy and track all sales activity.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and new products.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of proven sales experience, ideally in construction or building materials
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and site visits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
- A self‑starter mindset with persistence, professionalism, and integrity
